2010 budget: other sections
Parliament's reading of the 2010 budget for sections other than the Commission. The amendments concern keeping Parliament's budget below the self-imposed 20% of administrative expenditure, savings in translation and language services including a cross-cutting reserve for external translation, distinguishing fixed and variable costs and introducing zero-based budgeting, new establishment-plan posts and upgradings, buildings policy and security, multilingualism and legislative support to Members, and possible adjustments should the Treaty of Lisbon enter into force.
