Summary
A decision on migration from the Schengen Information System (SIS 1+) to the second generation Schengen Information System (SIS II). The amendments address the continued application of existing rules until migration is completed, alternative technical solutions if the SIS II project fails testing, protection of personal data and automatic deletion of records, the composition and terms of reference of the GPMB, and parliamentary scrutiny.
