Summary
Own-initiative annual report on the main aspects and basic choices of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) for 2007. Amendments address defining the Union's common interests, the EU speaking with one voice with democratic legitimacy through parliamentary scrutiny, the values underpinning the CFSP, the Lisbon Treaty, a transatlantic agenda with the incoming US administration, nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, climate change, energy security and the fight against terrorism.
