Summary
This own-initiative report reviews the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument. The amendments assess Regulation (EC) No 1638/2006 and cooperation with neighbouring countries divided into Southern and Eastern, reference the Union for the Mediterranean and the Eastern Partnership, the Black Sea Synergy, consultation with civil society and local authorities, conditionality on democracy, rule of law and human rights, budget support, corruption, visa fees and mobility, and energy security.
