Summary
Own-initiative report on 'Together for health: a strategic approach for the EU 2008-2013'. Amendments criticise the Commission's White Paper for insufficient gender mainstreaming, call for gender-disaggregated health statistics, reproductive and sexual health awareness, attention to vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and children, environmental health factors, and reference Article 152 of the Treaty, the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
