Summary
Recommendation to the Council on the EU priorities for the 63rd Session of the UN General Assembly. Amendments address the Millennium Development Goals and development aid commitments, soaring food prices, sub-Saharan Africa, UN peacekeeping operations, the UN system of terrorist blacklists found to infringe fundamental rights, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, the Rome Statute review, a universal moratorium on the death penalty, and coordination among EU institutions and Member States' representations.
