Own-initiative report on the transposition of Directive 2002/73/EC on equal treatment for men and women in employment, vocational training, promotion and working conditions. The amendments rework passages on definitions of direct and indirect discrimination and harassment, the independence and resources of equality bodies, judicial protection for victims, the gender employment and pay gaps, equal pay for work of equal social value, corporate equality plans and gender mainstreaming.
