Dual-use items and technology: Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit

The dossier concerns a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit of dual-use items and technology. The amendments set notification of competent authorities on first use of authorisations, define low-value shipments and exhibitions or fairs, list third countries covered by general export authorisations, exclude uses connected with human rights violations through interception and surveillance technologies, and provide for a Coordinating Group and stakeholder involvement.
