Summary

Draft decision on the European Criminal Records Information System (ECRIS). The amendments make adoption conditional on an instrument guaranteeing the protection of personal data in police and judicial cooperation, provide for a common communication infrastructure based temporarily on the S-TESTA network and later the European Judicial Network's secure system, and address the list of national offences and their legal classification under the table of offences.
