Summary
The dossier adapts waste statistics rules to the regulatory procedure with scrutiny. Amendments reference databases and statistical studies, provide for the Commission to inform the European Parliament and Council, on the basis of pilot studies, about compiling statistics on the import, transfer and export of waste, and allow measures taking into account environmental, economic and technical conditions in a Member State.
