Summary
A proposed regulation establishing a Community Code on Visas (Visa Code). Amendments cover first-time applicants and use of commercial intermediaries, biometric enrolment, representation arrangements between Member States lacking consular posts, multiple-entry and long-term visas, handling fees and exemptions, interviews including by telephone and video for distant applicants, appeals against refusals, frequent travellers with a positive visa history, and a common Schengen visa internet site.
